NoisyLoop

When working at home, many people like to play some music to create the illusion of being in a café rather than at work. Some prefer instrumental music without lyrics. NoisyLoop is an online platform that plays ambient sounds of city environments. It can help enhance focus while working from home or allow users to experience the atmosphere of different places. The website features various simulated environmental sounds such as offices, coffee shops, busy districts, public libraries, stations, and streets. Additionally, users can view information about the contributors of each sound recording and the photographers who captured the accompanying photos. If you're looking to change the ambiance of your work environment, give this website a try.

世界之窗

Last time I shared a dynamic window frame that costs $1,000 to $2,000 and requires a paid subscription. It's just too expensive to buy. Luckily, I'm a tech geek, so I created a YouTube playlist instead! "World Window, Take You Around the World" I've compiled a batch of YouTube looping videos to create a playlist, which is simply called "World Window". The playlist will continuously play window views from all over the world, including parks, waterfalls, forests, and bustling cities at night under rain. The coolest thing is that each video has background sounds that create the atmosphere. The average length of each video is over three hours. When you're reading on your computer, you can immediately feel like you're on vacation abroad by playing the videos on your computer screen. However, I recommend that you have YouTube Premium like me to avoid ads.

Zen Sounds

This website is part of Zen Flowchart, which provides some free sounds that can be used to relax and focus. Here you can find some natural sounds such as rain, ocean waves, bird chirping, and more. By the way, Zen Flowchart is a simple, easy-to-use, minimalistic, and beautiful online flowchart maker. Zen Flowchart offers both a free and paid version, with the free version limited to 3 files and 20 nodes, while the paid version has no limitations. The price for the paid version is $19/year, but the free mind mapping tool we shared earlier is actually sufficient (lol).

Tunefind

"Tunefind" is a music search website from the San Francisco Bay Area in California, USA, established in 2005. The music on this website is mostly copyrighted, so it cannot be used for commercial purposes. Therefore, it is not classified as audio and video materials, to avoid misuse. Instead, it is classified as work scenarios, so that when you want to relive the theme music of a movie, you can find the music that moved you through this website, and it can also be a good choice to accompany your work. The website also includes links to YouTube and Spotify for the music, so you can add it to your own playlist.

Listening to music while working or studying can increase efficiency. Some people don't like to listen to music with lyrics because it can distract attention. Lo-fi is short for "Low Fidelity" and refers to music produced with simpler, vintage equipment that creates a distorted and imperfect sound. This imperfect sound creates an atmosphere that feels real and nostalgic. This website is similar to a radio station that plays different "Lo-fi" music and GIF animations from different creators. To start listening, click on the "Listen" button on the bottom left corner of the website. The bottom left corner also shows the information about the current music's creator, and the bottom right corner shows the information about the background image's creator. If you want to focus on music while working, you can try it.

Music for Programming

Design requires focus, and engineers need a concentrated environment when writing code. This is an online music channel designed specifically for engineers. The website mimics the work environment of programming, so no one will notice that you are listening to music. It includes about 50 albums, each with a length of 1-2 hours and with styles such as nature or classical, and it is constantly adding more. No registration is required, just open the website and press play to listen. It will automatically play the next song after one song finishes, allowing you to focus on your work and improve efficiency. The best part is that you can directly download the music in MP3 format, so you can listen to these background music anytime, even without internet.
